We made our journey to the big texan in no less than a stretch cadillac....
All 'Texed-Up' with longhorns on the hood (i mean bonnet!)
THE BIG TEXAN.....Home of the 72oz steak!!
Thats about the size of a yellow pages.
The challenge is to eat it in under an hour, but you must also eat the side dishes which include baked potato, salad, bread roll and a slice of cake!!.... if you fail, you pay $48.
It is achievable (though people dont manage it too frequently), and it has been completed by kids, skinny europeans and even tigers (one guy cashed in on the fact that the advertisement didnt specify 'for human consumption')!....as well as your average Texan (joke!)
The venue boasts a poker casino, gift shop, rifle range, motel and even a 'horse hotel'.
